Hi, I'm Dan — a copywriter and ad script writer based in Devon, working with clients across the West Country and beyond. With over 25 years’ experience writing for radio, digital, online and podcasts, I help small businesses get the most out of their ad spend — with scripts that sound natural, cut through the noise, and deliver results.

In recent years, I’ve focused on the food & drink, tourism & travel, and charity sectors — but I’m adaptable, having worked with just about every kind of client since 1997.

I’ve written over 30,000 scripts, mostly for SMEs and start-ups looking to grow their reach. Unlike AI (which, fair enough, is free), I write ads tailored to your brief — not cobbled together from a quick scan of your website.

If you’ve heard a friendly voice on the radio talking about a farm shop, a heritage trail or a family-run distillery… chances are, I wrote the words. And if you’ve ridden the Big Bus Company’s routes in London or Vienna, there's a good chance I scripted the onboard UX audio. You're welcome.
